Tyson Fury had a quick response to Deontay Wilder’s comments about the Gypsy King’s next fight.
Reports have emerged suggesting Fury will take on unbeaten southpaw Otta Wallin in Las Vegas on September 14.
Wallin, 28, is currently 20-0 and but his 20 opponents have racked up a combined 259 losses.
Posting on Instagram, Fury suggested that Wilder was jealous of him.
He captioned it: “This is a big kiss to @bronzebomber AKA THE BIG jealous DOSSER,#BUMCITY #imthekingoftheworld.”
Wilder, the reigning WBC heavyweight champion, labelled the match-up “ridiculous”.
He also told Fighthype that Fury is only interested in fighting “night-shift graveyard workers” and that the whole thing is “bulls*** at its best”.
Fury and Wilder fought to a thrilling draw in late 2018 and it is believed that they have an agreement to fight again in early 2020, possibly February.
It is believed that ESPN wanted Fury to fight an American this time, but despite Fury suggesting Jarrell Miller, that clearly hasn’t been able to happen.
