Spence promises ‘one-sided massacre’

Errol Spence has sent a serious warning to Mikey Garcia ahead of their welterweight title bout on Saturday night in Texas, USA.

The Dallas fighter nicknamed ‘The Truth’ gave a resounding speech at the final press conference, telling his Mexican-American rival he should have taken family members’ advice and stayed in the lighter weight classes.

“He really thinks he’s gonna take this title and take it back to California. It’s not happening,” Spence declared as he gave his final comments.

“I know I’m the best fighter in the world and we’re gonna show it come Saturday night.

“They’ve been real cocky talking a lot of crap, him and his brothers.

“We’re gonna put on a great show and a great performance – it will be a one-sided massacre, I promise you that.

“I’mma punish him. He’s gonna wish he took his brother’s advice not to take this fight. Thank you.”

Despite being a 39-0 (30 KOs) four-weight world champion and pound-for-pound star, Mikey Garcia is a sizeable underdog against Errol Spence.

The challenger is once again stepping up in weight, however this time the champion that awaits him is more formidable than ever before.

Spence has now vowed to show no mercy to Garcia. Nevertheless, the 31-year-old plans to shock the world and become a five-weight king by claiming his 29-year-old rival’s IBF welterweight crown.
