Numbers show that Fury was hit more by Wallin than Wilder and Klitschko put together

Tyson Fury was hit 127 times by Otto Wallin in their Las Vegas battle on Saturday night, a negative record for the Brit.

This was the most punches landed on Fury in a 12-round fight in his entire career so far, including his battles with heavyweight champions Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko.

In fact, if you total up the punches landed on Fury by Wilder (71) and Klitschko (51) it still only comes to 122, less than the 127 landed by Wallin according to Compubox.

These numbers go to show just how badly the ‘Gypsy King’s’ cut affected his performance.

Fury was caught by his opponent in round three and from then on faced a struggle in the fight with blood pouring into his right eye.

Otto Wallin – 127

Dereck Chisora I – 115

Steve Cunningham – 91

Kevin Johnson – 85

Deontay Wilder – 71

Wladimir Klitschko – 51

Following the final bell he revealed he’d in fact suffered a double cut on both his eyelid and eyebrow.

This meant he had severely impaired vision out of his right eye for nine rounds of the bout and still emerged victorious regardless.
