Anthony Yarde will make the 3,000 mile trip to Russia this weekend to take on Sergey Kovalev for the WBO light heavyweight title.
The 28-year-old, from Hackney in London, has a perfect professional record of 18 wins but this will be his first major test.
He beat USA’s Travis Reeves at the Royal Albert Hall in March and will now take on Russia’s Kovalev in a shot at world glory.
The ‘Krusher’ has a pro record of 37 bouts with 33 wins and three loses and beat Colombia’s Eleider Alvarez in a rematch in February to regain his WBO strap.
Now ‘Beast from the East’ Yarde will look to take that belt away from him once again in this weekend’s title showdown.
